| Description | : This mission station was established in 1965. Mr. Subarao,a land lord from Andhra Pradesh,offered his land at a concessional rate to the mission.Mr.Karol,a friend of pioneer missionaries stayed there and prepared the ground for the mission work here. Fr. Remigi CMI joined the company of Mr. Karolin 1964 from Ballarpur and established contacts with the local people. Later Fr.Christian CMI was appointed here. The Sisters of the Destitute came here to help in 1965 and stayed in the hut of a railway watchman and served the people through the dispensary. Now the dispensary has become a full-fledged hospital. A new wing was added to hospital in 2015. In order to uplift the Catholic children mission station started 2005 an English medium school here. |
